Camping Always Ends
When people think of packing, they think of fancy holidays but with me I was going to a campervan. Me and my family moved to Leeds in 2012.
At 8:01am, I woke up ready for the day. I packed my bags, ready for the holiday to begin. We drove to a caravan site in Scarborough. The campervan, which was more like a luxury hotel to me, was amazing. My cousins on the other hand, camped in a tent. A boring old tent.
A day later, we went shopping in a local market. The mysterious items, which were as elaborate as the Mona Lisa, were made from crazy materials. We found some of the weirdest shops: a dry cake shop and a shop that was shaped like an egg. The thing that I was actually excited about was the beach. The waves leaped like excited dolphins. Beach balls flew everywhere.
The city is fabulous and so are you. Now I’m in year 6 and 10 years old. My favorite subjects are maths, english, computing, art, reading and home time. School is amazing, except when you do bad things. I loved moving to Leeds because it is a vibrant happy place and better than my home town. Leeds is a good city. People from Leeds care about others (like KVPS cares for us).
