Health Fayre
Health Week started with our annual Health Fayre on 21st May and was as exciting as ever! We had lots of physical activities taking place including football, basketball and Wake up, Shake Up. The new playground equipment was shown-off to many parents as children demonstrated their traversing skills. Ronnie the Rhino even joined in with games and a visit to the Tyre Park. Numerous stalls gave out lots of information and goodies, such as the sugar swap stall, healthy fruit kebab making and hand washing. Thank you to the many visitors who came to let us know about activities taking place in the area: West Leeds Activity Centre; Leeds Rhinos Federation; Catalan Soccer (Goals); Bramley Baths; Camp Carnegie (Beckett University) and Leeds Smiles.
Dinosaur Week
During Science Week, we had a special visitor to our school called REX .
Classes 1, 2 and 3 met Rex today. There were a few surprised faces.
Classes 4, 5 and 6 were amazed and very excited when they were introduced to REX.
